  • They Say...

Birmingham 6 have proven their abilities to fuse driving, rythmic guitar with dance beats and balanced electro harmonies in their previous releases. Error of Judgment is where they create a new standard. Joined by Jean-Luc de Meyer of Front 242 fame, the sound of Birmigham 6 is more consistent and persuasive than in previous releases, perhaps due to the wealth of experience brought to the band by a member of one the premiere EBM acts. There is not a single average track on this release, though there are several exceptional ones. The dancefloor beats and interplay between guitars and electro in "Summertime Is Over" are perhaps only overtaken by the brute power of "You Cannot Walk Here." The vocal style is restrained yet energetic, the lyrics memorable. Birmingham 6's programming creates the ultimate driving force between these elements. Error of Judgement has all the makings of a classic dance industrial release, and is sufficiently complex to have a high replay value. Try it out.
