  • They Say...

Following in the tradition of Black Top's Blues Cocktail Party (Black Top 1066) comes Blues Pajama Party, a mixture of sizzling blues and unreleased tracks. The collection is dedicated to the late James "Thunderbird" Davis, and includes his version of "If I Had My Life to Live Over." Earl King and Roomful of Blues, with vocalist Curtis Salgado do "Please Don't Leave Me Here to Cry"; Hubert Sumlin and Mighty Sam McClain collaborate on "Meet Me in the Bottom"; and plenty more from Sil Austin, Greg Piccolo with the original Roomful of Blues lineup, the James Harman Band, Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Snooks Eaglin, Lynn August, Robert Ward, Bobby Radcliff, Carol Fran, and others.
