Artist/songwriter Brian Dewan plays the electric Zither. These songs are more true to the old ballad tradition than many contemporary folk songs. He deals with dark material; disrespect for chain letters, 100-year-old cowboys put on display and the influence of a single copy of a record. It might not sound like folk music but it is.
