Does it get smoother than this? Deep house up-and-comer Chuck Love’s debut CD is perhaps one of the easiest electronic music listens you’ll ever have. Bring Enough to Spill Some does exactly what its title implies: it’s a double disc affair in which Love showcases his production and instrumental prowess on the first (“Soul Symphony” and “Bailando” are particular highlights) and then goes on to mix it up on the second disc with a collection of remixes. While the non-stop dance party of the latter could make for quite a soundtrack at your next shindig, the former is where it’s at. On it you can hear Love futzing around with a trumpet, flute and his beloved hookahphone (melodica, for those playing at home), coloring his past, current and future dance smashes with a flair all his own.
