They Say...
Greatest Hits contains a good cross-section of Dizzy Gillespie's best-known RCA numbers, including "A Night in Tunisia," "St. Louis Blues," and "Lover, Come Back to Me." Although it doesn't offer anything of interest to jazz purists or completists, Greatest Hits is a nice sampler for newcomers and casual fans. [Note to listeners: the contents of BMG's Planet Jazz compilation are identical.]
