For all of their surface simplicity, tracks like "Press Play and Record" and the underground classic "Valentine" possess an boundless wit and charm -- not only does Maffeo have a gift for acute wordplay, she's also got a knack for melodies so strong that even the lightest of her songs stick like glue.
