An incendiary collision of rock and jazz, executed with mind-boggling chops.

  • We Say...

This all-star ensemble is a fusion fan's dream band. With British fusion pioneer Brian Auger (of Trinity and Oblivion Express fame) on Hammond B-3 organ and featuring electric fretless bass wonder Bunny Brunel (formerly with Chick Corea), guitar shredder Tony MacAlpine and all-world drummer Dennis Chambers (currently with Santana), this fusion juggernaut holds nothing back on an incendiary collision of rock and jazz executed with mind-boggling chops, stop-time precision and daredevil unison lines. Highlights include Brunel's explosive opener "Hold On," MacAlpine's Return to Forever-ish "BB's Rumba" (featuring a brilliant piano solo by special guest Patrice Rushen), Brunel's ultra-funky "Bass Ackward" and his blistering fuzoid workout "Dede."
