  • They Say...

The British Far Out Recordings label compiles many popular songs from Brazil for the Brazilian Love Affair series. The compilations are an affirmation the Brits' love affair with Brazilian music rather than collections of ballads. Most of the songs found in the series have a heavy dance slant rather than a vocal pop slant. Thus, the compilations seem almost like traditional DJ mix albums. An abundance of remixes only furthers this sense. Some of the featured artists in the series include Azymuth and Joyce, who both appear often on the albums.
