  • They Say...

20th Century Rocks: '60s Rock 'N Roll - It's My Party isn't much different from the other volumes in the 20th Century Rocks: '60s Rock 'N Roll series. The emphasis here is on the lighter side of '60s rock & roll that stresses the roll rather than rock side of the equation. Nothing too rebellious or innovative here. Some of the featured performers include Lesley Gore, Del Shannon, Chubby Checker, the Ventures, the Chiffons, the Marcels, Bobby Rydell, and the Platters, along with other similar artists from the era.
