  • They Say...

The younger Generation X might know singer Dionne Warwick best from her many commercials for the Psychic Friends Network, but loyal fans and music lovers know a much more impressive side of the talented artist. Besides numerous solo hits, she also worked with Elton John, Luther Vandross, Gladys Knight, the Bee Gees, and many others. This Dionne Warwick album, Walk on By, is a shinning example of that impressive side. The recording was released in the early part of 1997 and carries 20 tracks, most all of them Warwick signature songs that old fans, and new ones, will enjoy listening to over and over again. All but one of the tunes of this offering was written by the team of Hal David and Burt Bacharach. So many favorites on one album makes this a true must-have to add to any soul or R&B collection, as well as any Warwick collection.
