We Say...
These three raucous numbers from emo stalwarts Rainer Maria are proof that high emotion doesn't necessarily lead to low volume. Vocalist Caithlin De Marrais has a tough, nervy voice, and Ears Ring finds them managing a melodic sensibility absent from their earlier work. "Automatic" is a revved-up pop number anchored in a sturdy bassline and searing riffs and the title track has De Marrais howling "have faith" against a storm of guitars.
