You'll find some strong performances here, including many classic blues tunes by the man who cast a spell over the young Eric Clapton and other guitarists. Many of this Chicago slide guitarist's best tunes are here, recorded shortly before his death in 1963. Unfortunately, you'll also find that the music sounds like it's being strained through Mississippi mud.
