Elu have specialized in crafting and grafting Enigma-styled grooves on all of their Eroica releases and December is no different, as Christmas classics thump with the heartbeat of drum machines, swirl with breathy vocals and float with airy synths, creating a gothic atmosphere for the holidays. "I Saw Three Ships" pairs a hip-hop shuffle rhythm with a sampled bagpipe, and while the effect is pretty kitschy, it's also pretty catchy C"B
