  • They Say...

An absolutely astounding collection of early Elvis live performances, starting with his initial appearance on the Louisiana Hayride in 1954. Of particular note is the five-song performance from the Eagle's Hall in Houston, Texas (March of 1955), as well as the inclusion of Hayride performances of LaVern Baker's "Tweedlee Dee" and Chuck Berry's "Maybellene," two songs Presley never recorded commercially. Although this material has been around the block numerous times, its improved fidelity and legal issuance here makes this a true cornerstone for any '50s Presley collection. (British import)
