Recorded live at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills, California between February 10 through 12, 1995, Over the Rainbow collects the highlights of the Eleventh Annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event's (S.T.A.G.E.) theatrical benefit for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Thirty-six stars of the stage perform some of Arlen's best-known songs, written in conjunction with lyricists like Ira Gershwin, E.Y. Harburg, Dorothy Fields, Johnny Mercer and Ted Koehler.
