  • They Say...

Jonn Serrie made his initial impact in the music world as a composer and performer of planetarium soundtracks. To that repertoire, he added his knack for capturing romantic moments in musical journeys. Ixlandia presents Serrie in the best of both worlds. He combines deep space music with romantic melodies and gentle ballads. The compositions come in three derivations -- deep space, gentle romance, and/or both. The deep space minimalism does not go to the dark side. Serrie stays on the gentler pastoral side of e-music. This disc, the companion to Midsummer Century, will appeal to fans of Kevin Braheny, Patrick O'Hearn, ohn Flomer, David Helpling, and Tim Clark. (This was originally available on Miramar. After they went out of business, Serrie reissued the disc on New World.)
