What initially seems like an unsettling cacophony of gongs and struck bronze tubes quickly reveals itself to be a cornucopia of interlocking, minimalist melodies that become both lush and soothing. The voices turn it truly unearthly, the harmonies elusive, moving with a stateliness that takes on the rhythm of breathing. Startlingly beautiful.
