Wisely avoiding disintegration and needless overstatement alike, soloist Jeno Jando, conductor Gyorgy Lehel and the Budapest Symphony Orchestra milk the concerto's multiple climaxes with carefully measured strokes on this 1992 recording, perfect for any amorous adventure.
