  • They Say...

16 Biggest Hits may be missing some noteworthy songs, but it does provide an excellent summary of Johnny Paycheck's Columbia recordings between 1971 and 1978. Since it does contain the majority of his best-known songs -- "(Don't Take Her) She's All I Got," "Someone to Give My Love To," "Slide Off of Your Satin Sheets," "I'm the Only Hell (Mama Ever Raised)," "Drinkin' and Drivin'," "Me and the IRS," "The Outlaw's Prayer," "Take This Job and Shove It" -- at a mid-line price, it's an excellent introductory collection.
