  • They Say...

A very literal singalong album, Kidz Bop collects 18 remakes of contemporary hits that also feature a chorus of kids singing along with the hooks. Generally, punk-pop songs like the covers of blink-182's "All the Small Things," Sugar Ray's "Fly," and Smash Mouth's invincible "All Star" fare the best as singalong material for kids, as do nonsensical hits like LFO's "Summer Girls" and Barenaked Ladies' "One Week." For the most part, Kidz Bop provides parents with a safe collection of pop music for their kids.
