  • We Say...

Anyone who has ever happened upon a blog dealing with indie music has probably seen Les Savy Fav's lead singer, Tim Harrington, and his ample belly. Photographs of the wild frontman after each raucous live show seem to pop up everywhere, confirming and reconfirming the fact that Harrington is quite possibly the craziest lead singer that independent music has seen in a long, long time.

Luckily, the guys behind Harrington are professional enough to give Harrington the ability to get as wild as he wants to be — you can hear both in full effect on this live set from January 1st, 2008. Among a host of originals, Harrington and the boys take on CCR's "Hey Tonight," the Pixies' "Debaser" and the Misfits "Astro Zombies" to a packed Bowery Ballroom crowd that shouts along to every word. It's almost as good as having been there. And, for those who weren't, don't worry about it: there are sure to be pictures of the show somewhere...
