  • They Say...

Created in 2005 as the "family friendly" version of the increasingly decadent Lollapalooza tour, Kidzapalooza boasted both children's music heavyweights like Ralph Covert (Ralph's World) and Lunch Money, and Lollapalooza mainstays like Lisa Loeb, Deborah Harry, and Perry Farrell, all of whom appear on Kidzapalooza, Vol. 1, a 12-track compilation of singalongs and light-hearted summer anthems that provide a nice break for parents via big purple dinosaurs and Teletubbies. All of the tracks are culled from individual releases, making it a nice sampler for those looking to get out of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Recommended for kids with Misfits sippy cups and parents still in bands.
