  • They Say...

Maggie Sansone's Dance Upon the Shore is the perfect mix of the traditional and modern music. The Irish drumming and Celtic harp fit very comfortably with a fretless bass and soprano sax. Sansone's harmonious hammered dulcimer playing is managed beautifully as both the lead and background on various selections. Her playing imparts a sweet, endearing music-box quality to the dulcimer. The Celtic pieces are passionate and the contemporary pieces have an interesting jazz flair. Other instrumentation includes guitar and fiddle.
