  • They Say...

This collection of high-tech cyber-trance-house-inspired ambient music rejects traditional song form in favor of an open soundscape blueprint. Artists such as Constance Demby, Al Gromer Khan, Suspended Memories, and Steve Roach are just some of the pioneers of contemporary ambient music represented here. Their music is tranquil and illuminating, but at times can also be turbulent and complex. Also present is a sense of humanity that is absent from much of today's ambient scene and a sense of warmth that is sometimes difficult to establish in electronic music. Transporting at varying speeds with organic nuances, listeners can immerse themselves in this translucent trip.
