  • They Say...

The soundtrack to the TV series draws from the catalog of the Six Degrees label, very apt for a "take you there" travel show, although the emphasis on electronica makes for a fairly high-tech getaway. Music from Rudy Maxa's World presents a good global selection, ranging from Indian to Middle Eastern and Latin, and the tracks each stand alone very well, atmospheric and melodic (with plenty of banging beats here and there, too). It's all good stuff, and, probably for the best, no one track stands out above the rest. Just take it as a whole, a quick trip around the globe and home in just over an hour.
