The New Bomb Turks are one of those rare bands who seem to put out a new release every other week and still manage to rock out, and Drunk on Cock is no exception. Even if there are only five songs to be found here, each track has enough energy and enthusiasm to catch an entire room off guard -- and before you know it, it's all over. Just imagine a youthful Rolling Stones without the British accents on 78 rpm, belting out songs under two minutes long. These guys could, and with their rendition of the Queers classic "This Place Sucks," there's a guarantee that this CD will be programmed on repeat.
