  • They Say...

An excellent package for the American market, Passport catches vinyl tracks and unreleased material (circa 1993 through 1998) from no less than nine of Can Oral's varied aliases, many including long-time cohorts like brother Cem Oral and Ingmar Koch (aka Dr. Walker). Though compilations that collect material from a variety of sources (or pseudonyms) often sound a bit disjointed, each of the beefy electro-techno tracks on Passport work well together. Fittingly, there are more tracks from the popular 4E and Khan than from any other alias, though two of the best tracks ("G.E.N.A.T.T.A.C.K.Z.," "Time Square-No Time") come from the Khan & Walker alias Global Electronic Network.
