They Say...
This David Lee Roth-era Van Halen tribute record has its heart in the right place. Pre-Bruce Dickinson Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di'Anno does a damn fine Roth on a spirited version of "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" and Ratt's Stephen Pearcy gets all the screams right on "Runnin' with the Devil," but for the most part this '80s Metal Tribute to Van Halen is a pale shadow of the original.
