  • We Say...

More than any other important American musician, Seeger dwells on songs for kids. The best of these are among the most engaging records he ever made, and this is nowhere truer than in his rendition of the chillingly hilarious or hilariously chilling story of the African giant, Abiyoyo. It takes about ten minutes to tell the story, and not a second of it is wasted. The rest of the album makes it plain that it's for the little kids.

  • They Say...

What can one say about the father of it all? He has been a staple in this music for a long, long time. His voice and banjo -- and his life -- stand for positive values for people in general, especially on this album. For ages three to seven.
