Through Windows and Walls is the umpteenth collaboration between R. Carlos Nakai and Peter Kater. It is, as expected, a set of classy, sensitive, and sensible arrangements. Kater's powerful keyboards play with, to, and around Nakai's supersonic flutes and whistles. The compositions are serene and soulful. Kater and Nakai are in total synergy and harmony, and reach listeners on several levels. This is great acoustic ambience. It will appeal to fans of Dean Evenson, Robert Tree Cody, and Coyote Oldman.
