Pure Punk is a sampler of the Cyclone Records catalog priced at a very reasonable rate, encouraging new listeners to familiarize themselves with the variety of sounds and artists on the punk label's roster. Most of it is pretty aggressive, some even ranging into hardcore and Oi!, but there are some hooky punk-pop tunes as well. A few of the better bands appearing include the Pinkerton Thugs, 30 Seconds Over Tokyo, Guttersnipe, the Boils, the Weekend Bowlers, No Ones Victim, the Randumbs, the Bruisers, and the Outsiders, among others.
