  • They Say...

Errant Angels is a shot into the deepest rows of the left field bleachers. Rapoon, aka Robin Storey, pulled out all the experimental thunder for this avant-garde electronica. He takes a unique approach to this style, and does not build his experimental attitudes on dissonance. He uses unique sounds that he strings together in an original fashion. Those sounds surround and nearly suffocate the low drones; this is melodic refrigerator hum, and the drones do not die, but rather continue to carry the unusual atmospheres into diverse zones. Those atmospheres are irrational and dysfunctional. The soundscapes are disturbing. This is an extremely dark -- almost satanic -- CD. It will appeal to fans of Stephen Philips, Lászlo Hortobágyi, Lustmord, and Isomorph.
