Recorded in Chicago and Richmond, Indiana over a five year period, this finds the versatile and adaptable Jones providing backup for Callie Vassar, Thelma LaVizzo, Baby Mack, Robinson & Mack, Sam Robinson, Wilmer Davis, Lillie Delk Christian, Rosa Holley, and Louis Powell. These ultra rare 78s give a glimpse into the output of one of jazzdom's truly forgotten artists.
