Bossa Nova: This is Jazz, Vol. 29 is an entertaining 11-track collection that contains such jazz superstars as Stan Getz, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Charlie Byrd, Astrud Gilberto and, of course, Antonio Carlos Jobim playing familiar bossa nova tunes. It's not a definitive overview of the genre, but as a sampler, it's quite enjoyable and provides a reasonably effective introduction.
