  • They Say...

Fuel 2000's Absolutely the Best of the Blues, Vol. 2 collects 14 remastered classics from Otis Spann, Big Bill Broonzy, Peppermint Harris, Lightnin' Hopkins, and other blues greats. Buddy Guy's "This Is the End," Sunnyland Slim's "Highway 61," Mississippi John Hurt's "Make Me a Pallet on Your Floor," and Big Joe Turner's "Nighttime Is the Right Time" are among the highlights of the set, which features previously unreleased performances and extensive liner notes. While it may not entirely live up to its title, Absolutely the Best of the Blues, Vol. 2 is another solid compilation of blues standards.
