  • They Say...

Chris Connelly's contributions to the musical stage are vast in the subgenres of rock & roll, and this collection collects many of the facets he is known for. The tracks, selected by Connelly, collect "Out-takes, Rarities & Personal Favourites" from his tenure with the Revolting Cocks, Pigface, Fini Tribe, the Bells, and others. Spread over two discs, the set is a nice one that should appeal to fans of his work as well as those interested in finding out more about all the cookie jars Connelly has had his fingers in over the years; from his industrial days to his more mellow acoustic work, most of his changes and phases are represented here. The only big representational hole not filled by this assemblage is that there is nothing by Ministry, with whom Connelly played keyboards and sang, but that fact doesn't taint the package much, if at all. Connelly did an excellent job sequencing the two discs to make this into a perfect collection that doubles as an introduction to his work as well as a fine assortment of outtakes and rarities for collectors.
