  • They Say...

The final Godz album, released in 1974, is in fact a revisit to a previous Godz splinter group, which released the album under the title Pass on this Side in 1970. While the two releases are packaged differently, this is essentially the same recording that rates pretty low alongside avant-garde and folk of the Godz first three recordings for ESP. The inclusion of Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney, and David Peel, however, adds mystique and starpower to one of NYC's first art rock troupe's last recordings.
