  • They Say...

Milk Milk Lemonade has been described by Screeching Weasel's Ben Weasel as the worst album ever recorded, primarily because of the fact that it features a high degree of instrumental complexity, something that turned other punk rock folks off. It is not a bad album; it is just different and much more diverse than previous MTX recordings, and (gasp!) it sometimes emphasizes the use of acoustic guitars. Milk Milk Lemonade features an MTX staple: songs about breaking up, songs about crappy relationships, and/or songs about not having a girlfriend.
