  • They Say...

More zany tunes guaranteed to create mayhem from the rambunctious Olympics. The doo wop-ish "Stay Where You Are" stands out as the rare Olympics' ballad, everything else is upbeat and frantic. "Dance by the Light of the Moon" and "Peanut Butter" (as recorded by the Marathons) have the most commercial appeal. "Little Pedro," "Little Dooley," and "Big Chief Little Puss" -- war-whoops and all -- try to duplicate "Big Boy Pete." This disc oddly includes "Just Like That," by the Robins. Were the Olympics masquerading again? A hokey bass singer makes his presence felt throughout.
