  • We Say...

"Put a beat of fun in your life" goes the tagline on the Pinker Tones' MySpace these days. That breezy quote sums up the sound of Wild Animals pretty well. Bouncy beats, goofy synth lines and even a spot of vocoder feature heavily on songs like "S.E.X.Y.R.O.B.O.T." and "Wilde Eleganz." The duo of Mister Furia and Professor Manso seem almost monomaniacal in their obsession to weld all manners of fun together — whether it be rock, salsa, synth pop, hipster lounge or whatever the heck you want to call "The Whistling Song." Luckily, it's an obsession that's worth hearing: this might just be the Pinker Tones most successful batch of beat fun yet.
