  • They Say...

Over the course of two CDs, The Very Best of the Pointer Sisters: Fire run through every one of the group's biggest hits of the '70s, from their first hit "Yes We Can" through "Fire," and stopping just after their 1983-1984 peak of popularity with "Automatic," "Jump (For My Love)," "I'm So Excited," and "Neutron Dance." Two discs is too much material for anyone but devoted fans, but this is the most complete retrospective available about the Pointer Sisters, and it's hard to imagine that there will ever be another compilation quite so thorough.
