They Say...
The Showcase Showdown not only has one of the best band names out there (Bob Barker eat your heart out), but the singer takes the cake for doing his best Johnny Rotten impersonation. So yeah, the Sex Pistols are a big influence on Appetite of Kings, but the Showcase add their own style of aggressive pogo-punk, with a touch of oi and "smash the state" lyrics.
