They Say...
This 1988 album has a strong emphasis on melodic structure. His flutes and keyboards are complemented by others on keyboards, cello, percussion, guitar and voice, with some sax and oboe by Andy Mackay from Roxy Music. Wheater's flutes are ever present, but the focus is on ensemble playing rather than soloing, with effective interplay between flute, cello, and synthesizers. The mixture of acoustic instruments with synthesizers and classical elements makes Green Dream a beautiful and peaceful treasure.
“ The indie iTunes — Hardcore music fans are migrating to eMusic, the iTunes Music Store's cheaper, cooler cousin.”
