They Say...
Tyrone Davis keeps making his familiar confessional soul, earthy ballads, and bluesy uptempo wailers, now for the Atlanta-based Ichiban label. There aren't any classics on this 1991 set, but everything is produced in the classic Southern soul mode, with a minimum of electronic/synthesized backbeats and little trace of New Jack influences.
