They Say...
This recording strongly features A. Kanyakumari supported by Manar Gudi A. Easwaran on mridangam, Mambalam S. Siva on nagaswaram, N. Vijaylakshmi on vina and K. Ganesa Pillai on tavil, collectively known as the South Indian Instrumental Ensemble. Western releases of Carnatic music have been relatively uncommon and this performance rewards investigation. Musical merit exceeds rarity value, however.
