  • They Say...

An extremely varied set of music from all over the former Yugoslavia, it mostly consists of vocal music but with some fine instrumental work, notably for the guzla fiddle and a local bagpipe. Though the notes aren't very specific, the performers clearly range from village to semi-pro or even pro, but only a couple of over-arranged Slovenian cuts that open the CD are really disappointing.
