Bay Rock Shop 9 celebrates the life and music of the late Jerry Garcia through interviews with contemporaries and confidantes including Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady. Although the set also includes a handful of musical performances, including Tom Constanten's "Mountains of the Moon" and New Riders of the Purple Sage's "Ripple," the ratio of interviews to music is such that the disc can safely be recommended to die-hard Deadheads only.
