  • They Say...

When singer/songwriters are mentioned, most folks think of James Taylor and his folk-pop ilk. This great compilation gathers work by Africa's best artists to shatter any misconception. The lilting guitar lines and sly lyrics of S.E. Rogie are heard alongside the deep-soul a cappella of Vusi Mahlasela, and that's just the first two tracks. There isn't a weak track in the 60+ minutes of the disc.
