  • They Say...

This budget-priced collection of hits from the popular Baroque pop group, despite a good smattering of classic tracks, is about as slim as they come. That Collectables' ten-track overview of the Association includes notable cuts like "Along Comes Mary," "Windy," and "Requiem for the Masses" but omits prominent hits such as "Cherish" and "Never My Love" should be warning enough to those looking for a definitive -- albeit brief -- anthology of the group, and its decidedly sparse -- as in nonexistent -- liner notes provide little in the way of information. Listeners who are in the market for a manageable -- but thorough -- overview should look to Warner Bros.' Association's Greatest Hits.
