Aaron Sprinkle

Honestly, I don't know what this critic is talking about. Aaron is one of the best song writers out there. All of his solo stuff is excellent, and his new band Fair have released an incredible album...I believe it was nominated for a Grammy.

Aaron Sprinkle seems to be one of the most consistent musicians out there. All of the different groups he produces for almost always turn out excellent but his own music is never anything but good.

Aaron Sprinkle is one of the most talented and creative musical forces in Christian Music. When he isn't making his own music he takes the role as producer these days for many of the Tooth and Nail bands. He started out in the band Poor Old Lu. After that he was in the way to short lived Rose Blossom Punch. He followed that up by releasing 3 solo albums. The Kindest Days is my favorite of the three. Aaron creates catchy melodies and lyrics with depth and relevence. Most of these songs have a kind of modern singer/songwriter feel to them. Aaron's new band is called Fair and should be releasing a new album soon.

This album differs from the usual stuff you might hear on Christian radio, but I consider that a good thing. Its not happy-go-lucky feel-good music. I like the sound and enjoy finding someting different. Give it a listen and make up your own mind.

They Say All Music Guide

Singer/songwriter Sprinkle serves up a dark offering of songs that only give vague references to Christian concepts and themes. Not exactly an uplifting bunch of songs, the vocals are not quite in tune and the guitar lines bordering on annoying. The whole album is strange, with a musical style that is a cross between electric rock and acoustic folk. There’s nothing too detrimental on this album, but it’s not exactly the cream of the crop either, so it receives an average rating. – Dacia A. Blodgett-Williams
